Speaking Your Customer’s Language

In order to be successful in affiliate marketing you are going to need to speak the language of your customers. In fact marketing has been described as entering into the middle of the conversation that is happening in the mind of your consumer.

It’s just like how I would talk to you. If I came across to you all
hypey and loud that would be a real turn-off. I wouldn’t be providing any real value for anyone and my business would go down the drain. The same applies in your own business. No matter what you’re selling or who you’re selling to, always focus on delivering value. The most successful online marketers out there explain the benefits of their products in language that their prospects use every day. Every niche market out there has a specific slang and phrases that people in that niche regularly use. Tapping into that language and using it is one of the main keys to success online. So how do you find out how what your customers are saying?

One of the main things that you can try is hanging out in the places where the people with the particular problem you are trying to solve tend to hang out.

Forums are an excellent place to start here, and you can join a forum and check out how people are talking about their problems to each other or rather what language they are using to talk about their problems. You can also look at the main things that concern them and the conversations that they are having between each other to further home in on the issues that you can solve for them.

Depending on the niche I also like to check out you tube and watch people talking about the problems that they are having. Again look out for the things they are most concerned about and the language they use to express these concerns.

You can also check out the Google key word tool and read the results from top to bottom looking at what the most common words that these people are typing in about the problems they have. This
will also give you valuable clues as to what to write.

Doing all this type of research is well worth the effort and will bear fruit for you when you look at the results that you will be getting.
